Managing Work-at-Heights Course

(20 SDU Points)

This course has been designed to meet the minimum standard for Working at Height Training for Supervisors, Assessors or Managers in Singapore, as recommended in the WSH (Work at Heights) Regulations 2013 and the Approved Code of Practice for Working Safely at Height (2011). The course is for anyone involved in the supervision, planning / assessment or management of work at height activities.

Work-at-Heights Course for Workers

The aim of the course is to provide course participants with the requisite WAH knowledge so that they can perform their WAH activities properly and safely.

WSQ Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant

(formerly Oil/Petrochemical Safety Orientation Course for Workers) On completion of this unit, learners will have the skills and knowledge in applying workplace safety and health practices to ensure the safety of oneself and others at work in the Oil and Petrochemical industry

WSQ Supervise Work in Confined Space Operation

(formerly Safety Instruction Course (Manhole) for Supervisors) Upon completion of this unit, learners will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the duties of a supervisor working in a Confined Space.

WSQ Perform Work in Confined Space Operation

(formerly Safety Orientation Course (Manhole) for Workers) On completion of this unit, learners will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and expertise to perform the duties of an entrant and attendant when working in a confined space, use gas detection instruments and participate in an emergency situation.

WSQ Perform Confined Space Rescue

(24 SDU Points)

Perform Confine Space rescue is designed to prepare trainees with adequate knowledge and capabilities to be competent for execution of primary confined space rescue activities safely during accidents or mishaps in confined space work prior to the arrival of SCDF.

Confined Space Rescue Course

Designed to equip participants with adequate basic knowledge on rescue for purpose of executing rescue planning and rescue operation in a confine space.

Chemical Safety Awareness Course

Designed to create awareness among workers in industries on various hazards of chemicals and their safe handling. At the end of the course, participant should be able to :

  • Describe the classes of chemicals and their hazards.
  • Understand the Material Safety Data Sheet.
  • Explain and apply safe practices in the handling of hazardous materials.

Contractor Management Course

Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to apply the necessary knowledge to evaluate, select, coordinate, monitor and communicate WSH expectations between principle (clients) and contractors.
