Work-at-Heights Course for Workers

Course Overview :

To provide course participants with the requisite Work-At-Height (WAH) knowledge so that they can perform their WAH activities properly and safely.

Who Should Attend :

This course is for all workers who are required to work at heights. The participants will be taught the hazards and the safe work practices of working at heights.

Course Outline :
  • Identify relevant Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) legislations/ approved codes of practice / Singapore standards applicable to WAH and roles and responsibilities
  • Identify WAH hazards and preventive measures related to WAH
  • Demonstrate the understanding of use and care for the various fall arrest systems and equipment
Course Duration : 1 day (Training hours: 6, Assessment hours: 1.5)

Assessment : Practical Performance and Written Test
Target Group : This MOM accredited Work at Height course for Workers is mainly for all workers required to work at heights in their daily operations and activities.
Entry Requirements : Applicant should be able to understand and communicate in English, and have a basic knowledge of workplace procedures, processes, practices and activities.
Certification : The participant who passes the course will be deemed a competent worker for working at height only. It does not replace the other industry/ trade specific safety and supervisory training requirements.

Important Notice : Mandatory for participants to wear safety shoes throughout this course.
