WHY INDUSTRIAL SAFETY MATTERS
Industrial safety in Singapore goes beyond meeting the requirements set by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act.
It’s a responsibility that protects both people and business outcomes. By staying compliant with these standards, companies not only avoid penalties but also show a clear commitment to managing workplace risks responsibly.
As a result, fewer workplace accidents, reduced downtime, and the growth of a strong safety culture naturally follow. For organisations seeking ongoing support, our professional WSHO and WSHC services can help manage compliance from start to finish.

FAQS
Legal standards include Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), such as SHMS and ISO certifications, and requirements from the National Environment Agency (NEA), among others. For continuous compliance, explore our WSHO/WSHC Services.
In Singapore, noise monitoring is required at least once every three years, or earlier if modifications to machinery, equipment, operations, or work conditions may increase employees’ exposure to excessive noise.
A Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) is a structured framework required by Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM) for certain higher-risk workplaces such as construction sites, shipyards, and factories handling hazardous materials. Its goal is to systematically manage safety and health risks.
The Confined Space Safety Assessor is required by the Workplace Safety and Health (Confined Spaces) Regulations 2009 to test the atmosphere in a confined space before anyone enters. They must then endorse the confined space entry permit application and send it to the authorised Manager.
