The Patriot Fireproof glove is suitable for use in direct fire fighting (flashover, inside attack) as well as recovery, rescue and technical assistance within the meaning of DIN EN 659:2008 (DIN EN 659+A1+AC:2009). The glove insulates against heat and cold. Heat-resistant up to 250°C contact heat. The glove offers a high level of wearing comfort with particularly good grip and excellent protection against mechanical risks. Due to its Hipora insert the glove is breathable.
Palm, finger joint & knuckle reinforcement, fingertips: 100% aramid (Kevlar®), knitted fabric with flame-resistant silicone-carbon coating
Backhand, cuff: Twill fabric made from 100% aramid (Nomex®)
Backhand addition: fleece lining 100% aramid (Kevlar®)
Inner palm: additional intermediate layer 100% aramid (60% Nomex®/ 40% Kevlar®), knitted fabric with flame-retardant silicone coating
Inner lining: Interlock knit fabric 100% aramid (Kevlar®) directly needled with fleece made from 100% aramid (50% Kevlar® / 50% Nomex®)
Knitted cuff: Elastic knit fabric made from 97% aramid (Kevlar®)/ 3% elastane
Insert: Porelle PTFE membrane, waterproof, windproof, breathable, anatomically
Applications: reflective tapes in yellow/silver/yellow, reflecting label “PATRIOT® Fireproof by askö®”, D-ring and carabiner
