SOLARSTOP® fire extinguishing device for PV installations is a specialised safety solution designed for solar panel incidents. It rapidly blocks sunlight from reaching photovoltaic (PV) modules, effectively stopping electrical generation and reducing the risk of electric shock, re-ignition, and escalation during a fire or emergency.

Lightweight and easy to deploy, SolarStop provides first responders and maintenance teams with a fast, non-invasive way to isolate PV systems, improving safety while firefighting or repair works are carried out.

SOLARSTOP® extinguishing device forms a film on the surface of the photovoltaic panels which, by blocking out the light, effectively reduces the production of electric current. It is an environmentally friendly, innovative water-based extinguishing agent which, in addition to having excellent extinguishing properties.

The SOLARSTOP® jet range is >11m*, allowing it to be operated from ground level without the need to get close to the fire.

*Range of operation and coverage may vary in different weather conditions (rain, wind, etc.) and the effectiveness of the person targeting the jet spray.
