Persons who are currently working as fire extinguisher service personnel and who wish to be certified as operators in the inspection, maintenance and recharging of fire extinguishers.

  • Introduction to fire extinguishers.
  • Types of fire extinguishers and their classification & ratings.
  • Overview of SS.EN.3 – Specification for fire extinguishers.
  • SS.578 – Selection & distribution of fire extinguishers.
  • SS.578 – Maintenance of fire extinguishers – Both Theory & Practical.
  • SS.578 – Recharging of fire extinguishers – Both Theory & Practical.
  • SS.578 – Hydrostatic testing of fire extinguishers – Both Theory & Practical.
  • Theory test and Practical test.
