This course will be conducted via E-Learning – Synchronous Mode (Video Conferencing using Zoom Video Conferencing Tool).
High-risk industries such as chemical processing, waste management, and oil & gas, among many others, require effective coordination during emergencies. It’s because in such sectors, emergencies can escalate rapidly due to hazardous materials, complex operations, and large-scale processes.
This emergency response planning course will be conducted via E-Learning – Synchronous Mode (Video Conferencing using Zoom Video Conferencing Tool). It teaches the skills and knowledge required by the person in charge of a facility to implement the incident management process, covering the approach, structure, tools, processes, and communication methods that can be utilised during an emergency incident.

Course Outline
By enrolling in this CERT Incident Management training in Singapore, a competent individual must be able to successfully perform the following:
- Interpret the incident management approach and structure to ascertain the scope and severity of emergencies and hazards such as fires, leaks, explosions, etc.
- Utilise incident management areas and processes to implement emergency response strategies
- Use appropriate communication methods, such as incident command systems, SCDF communication protocols, when managing an incident to control all internal and external resources
- Control and maintain the Incident management process to assess information on the status of the emergency
- Undertake post-emergency evaluation and debrief – use reporting templates and apply continuous improvement to strengthen future emergency responses.
Important Information
- Participants are required to have basic knowledge on the use of computer to take part in this E-Learning.
- Participants are also required to have either a personal computer or laptop with camera and audio (microphone & speakers) to take part in this E-Learning.
- E-Learning (Synchronous Mode-Video Conferencing) will be conducted using Zoom Video Conferencing platform.

- Dual-bank RAM for better performance
- During the entire online classroom, except during lunch time and tea break, participants are required to have their camera turned on at all times. This is for verification and audit purposes.
- To minimise disruption to the E-Learning during class, participants are to mute their microphone unless during Q&A or discussion.
- Please be informed that the entire E-Learning will be recorded, and screenshots of the online classroom will be taken for verification and audit purposes.
- Any personal information recorded and collected are strictly only for submission to Skillsfuture Singapore (SSG) and are handled in accordance to PDPA.
Attendance & Course Completion Requirements
- Learner must achieve minimum of 75% attendance for entire course.
- Successfully complete (Pass) the theory assessment.

Training Grant
